Wheelchair Tyre Sizes

Greentyre are undoubtedly the world's leading brand of flat free tyres for wheelchairs. Chosen over the past two decades by most of the major wheelchair producers in the world Greentyre produce tyres to meet most wheelchair applications. When Greentyre launched the flat free tyre to the UK NHS in 1994 little could the development team have expected that within a decade flat free tyres would be the industry standard for wheelchair manufacturers worldwide.

Fitting Greentyres offer similar challenges to those less able as pneumatics and it is recommended that fitting of tyres is undertaken by a tradesman familiar with tyre fitting on wheelchairs. It is essential that after fitting replacement tyres that brake function is checked.
